Don't Look at Your Screen From the Left

So there I was, behind my computer and contemplating between adding content to my main site or working on one of my new ones.

Leaning to my left side, I made a miraculous discovery.

My long battle to achieve PR 6 had finally ended. As clear as ever, there was a little extra green in that page rank bar.

Joy! I said, Joy!

Quickly and happily, I clicked on my trusty Google toolbar to see how many new backlinks had been added.

None. There were still 50 backlinks. I leaned back in my chair, directly in front of the computer and realized that because I was looking from the left, it made the green bar look larger.

A friggin optical illusion I played on myself.

Moral of the story: Don't lean either way when working on your sites. :)

Well you just need to make sure clients are sitting to your right when you show then examples of your work in the future.
