Hi there,

I have added Google search feature to my site. Now, I need to check out how the results look like, how are they displayed and what portions of my site has been indexed...

Now, I am affraid of clicking the search on my site as I understood those clicks may be indentified as invalid and have me lose my AdSense account.. I certainly wouldn't like that to happen..

How can I check the results without any risk?

Would it be ok if I change my proxy settings and then check out my search results?
I am not sure...

Any tips please?
Thanks much!

Using the site search for your own site to see what it looks like is not going to cause a problem. The only problem would arise if you click the ads that are displayed in addtition to the results from your own site.

Google counts paid click when you click the link (ads )in the results page........and you may safely check the results if you want.

one thing you dont need to check those as the results displayed are not dependent upon the the crawling status of website,it all depends upon the keyword entered and ads availables for shoing in that region

But then it makes the "search" feature useless? It all comes to ads after all I guess.. I thought I'd be able to have my site content spidered and served for my visitors 'along' with the ads. This looks like ads got higher priority then site content...
