I get a million spams a day, but with the head line "Google's New Rating System ¦ Pay for Inclusion at Lycos" I had to read it...

Here is a bit more on from the spam:

Google recently announced a change to its toolbar software which includes two new buttons: a happy face and a frowning face, which users can click on to rate webpages as they visit them.
The toolbar is free and only works with Internet Explorer 5.0 and runs on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000 or XP. The toolbar helps you find just what you're looking for online without returning to Google's homepage to perform new searches. Once installed on your system it automatically appears under the Internet Explorer toolbar."

It's copyrighted by J*yd*. Let me find all the IP addresses so I can block it in my .htaccess...

I use IE6 and the toolbar works fine with me.

Does anyone know when this toolbar will become mainstream? I hear it is in the beta stage now.

there are two versions, a beta version and a stable version (deleon)
[toolbar.google.com...]
[toolbar.google.com...]
the deleon version is the one that will be installed when you get it the normal way (toolbar.google.com & click ahead)
