Hi Folks, what does it mean when your site is a PR5 in the toolbar, but a PR7 in the directory? Why the difference? Thanks!

Hi,

In the directory is shown the overall page rank (the PR of the entire web site)
while in the toolbar is shown the PR of the individual page you're viewing.

Thanks Specter. Okay, but the maximum PR that my site has is on the home page...which is presently 5 but was 6 for a long time before that. And the PR on the directory is 7. Just doesnt make sense.

That's not it. The Directory is updated more recently. However, it isn't "PR7" as the Directory is scaled differently.
