What Data Can Google Toolbar Collect

I have heard rumors that the google toolbar is collecting data on how long a person is visiting a particular web page and that they are using this data for their rankings. Does anyone know if this is the case?

I also wanted to know if google is using date from the "Vote For This Page" and "Vote Against This Page" in it's rankings?

if anyone has experience with this that would be great

When downloading the Google toolbar, it is mentioned quite specifically that

"By using the advanced features of the Google toolbar, you maybe sending information about the sites you visit to Google. This is needed to make some features of the toolbar available to you."

Only the url is sent and not the user id.

Well, from this I would also imagine that what you heard is right. But will not bet my life on this...

I'm sure they are using the info for something. So how much is the info thrown off or used against SEO's and webmasters. Most people that visit a site have zero interest in page rank or backlinks. So if you are constantly checking the ranking of your own site and you have the toolbar installed, isn't it possible that google is watching and using the info against you?
