I want to use Google or other search engine to find websites that contain specific HTML code, or a certain word that appears only in HTML code.

How can I do that?

I don't think you can mig1234 :(

I always thought this would be a nice search engine feature, however I guess it's too specialised to crop up on any of the major search engines.

Although depending on why you need to do this, you could spider websites yourself and search them on your own PC.

Sounds good, but how can I do it?

You would need to use your own crawler [webmasterworld.com] to spider your target sites, and then you can search them for the code locally.

It's probably unfeasible though if your talking about a large number of sites.
