Google Toolbar Malfunction

Something's really wrong here...

I don't know what happened, but i can't search from the google toolbar. but i can search from the website.

If i go to google.com and search it works fine. but... If i search something else, on that result page that just popped up, it will also fail. I can see the IE passing the search param on the status bar located on the bottom left of IE. but it just sits there almost as if its trying to connect to a site that does not exist.

further, If i clear all cookies and offline files, it works but only for a few minutes.

No spyware on the computer.

confused.
