How many people use that toolbar?

We really don't know how many dls it has had. 3 million dl's was thrown around about two months ago in an interview with Google.

Its not so much the numbers that are interesting as the demographic. I bet virtually every pro SEO in the world uses it, with the exception of a few hard-core Mac-only types, and the small %age who are recovering from a HDD crash at any one time

The ad for it on Googles front page will take it mainstream eventually

And it is possible to see somewhere figures? Tendencies?

Nope, they've never released anything like that to the best of my knowledge. It sure would be a gold mine though.

I agree Talltrol, Google's pushing it enought for it to be mainstream.

The demographics would be great, but millions of users should indicate that it's not just SEOs.

Fair enough, but the key word is "rarely". I bet you have it on a quarantine machine somewhere that is separate from the rest of your systems, and used for testing. But you do have it. Whether you use it regualrly or not, you count as a download

3m dl's says to me that it is currently used by SEOs, and out from there by 1 or 2 degrees of separation, plus a scattering of non-SEO power users, plus 1/2 degrees of separtion from them
