Lately I have found several pages in our site which SOMETIMES have the same PR as our Index page (which they are linked off)It seems to depend on how I get to the page ie from a search engine it will most likely be PR4 but from home page link a 3.
Has anyone else experienced this?

yes, I experienced something like that recently.
My PR vary on some pages - possibly because of the way I get there, I don't know.
Anyone?

I just got this thread with similar problem

I would not waste too much time worrying about what PR the google toolbar shows.

It is often inaccurate and it is very rarely if ever the PageRank that is used to help determine ranking.

But then that’s just me, I often recommend that people just disable the PageRank feature or better yet just uninstall the toolbar.

Our main internal pages linked off our home page are now consistantly showing the same PR as the home page -its no longer jumping around. Does this mean our home page is teetering on a higher position maybe?

Also I have heard that Google use 8-9 data centers in total, depending the time of the month (excuse the phrase) you can be the best thing since sliced bread or you can be a down and out.

When all data centers have converged fully you should see a constant PR, well that's what they say anyway...
