can toolbar spot visitors to your site?

Does increase in toolbar users' traffic to your site boost PR?

Sorry if it has been discussed before already.
Maybe this thread should be moved somewhere else.

My question is: if I get more page views from visitors with google toolbar installed will that help elevate my "importance" in view of the Gbot and PR accordingly?
In other words can the toolbar detect how often this or that page is visited and can this iboost PR?

thanks for help

Yes. With the advanced options the toolbar "phones home" eevry time a search is made.

No. PR is not about visitors, it is about links.

Think about it. How much would it cost you to get a teenager to hit your site with the toolbar every minute, for an hour every day?

Well yeah,

How much would it cost you to get a teenager to hit your site with the toolbar every minute, for an hour every day?

I just imagined it could have some cookie (IP, OS, etc) supported detection system for repeated clicks from the same person within a certain session term

Yes but what about alexa system then?
As I see it generates traffic reps for this or that site baswed on how many times this or that alexa toolbar user visited it.

Also a fancy case for "teenager" fraud?
