I just downloaded an app that lets me put Smileys in emails. It included installing a search portal called MyWebSearch. Now,when I do a search using the IE address bar MyWebSearch results display. "It says powered by Google" but the results seem out of date. The only advantage to this is that I don't have to look at Microsoft Overture results if I enter a search in the address bar. Why don't you do this with the Toolbar and drop the search entry? I'd have more room in the toolbar area at the top of the browser for the other stuff.

Check out this option in 2.0:
OPTIONS > MORE > Use Google as my default search engine in IE [4th checkbox from the top]

I think this does what you want.
