Pagerank of 2,but no sites linking to mine.

My pagerank is 2 but there are no sites linking to mine or related(found this out with google toolbar)Can anyone explain this to me?

i dont seeyour url,i think there is some rulethat you have to reach certain amount of posts to display your url..

also i have a site that got pr 2 too in this update and has no incoming links - brand new site.

added: my mistake -i have pr 3 and link (but i didnt link back) from 1 site.

You could very likely have sites linking to you that are below the threshold where they would show up on a backlink check.

Try [sitescreamer.com ] or [marketleap.com ] - they offer free link popularity check tools. Maybe you'll get more detailed info on who's linking to you there

Try sticking a 3 in after the www:

[www3.google.com...]

Sometimes the links won't show up in the main search results but their effect will be applied.

i tried out the link chk tool on sitescreamer.com ; at first it looked fairly accurate but after really checking into it, i don't think it is.

for instance: sitescreamer says my site has 0 links from AltaVista, but when i went to AV and used their Webmaster Search tool to chk for sites that link to mine i got a result of 113.

errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......?

what's going on?
