Is it correct now?As in what it used to be like pre April with the monthly dances. I doesnt appear to have the same reliability as b4.
cheers

I thought that the last update had fixed everything, since all of my pages got back their PR and my backlinks returned (well 60% of them) but in the last day or two, 20% of my pages are gray bared again.

My site has been searchable in G since Feb. It got a white bar in July and finally a PR3 on the toolbar today. Something is definitely happening.

My pagerank has also changed on the toolbar within the past 24hrs.

mack - I agree - PR seems to be updated

I see new PR showing on a number of sites now that were PR0 yesterday for what its worth.

Seems to be a common trend. Lots of pages (including sections of DMOZ) have suffered drops in PR over the last few months.

I have seen drops in PR for a couple of the sites I manage. Hasn't made any difference to traffic levels though (if it had ... I'd worry).

my site dropped 1 point all morning, but then regained the point!
I check an other site that also had a very high PR and yes, that had dropped 1 PR as well. Then when my site gained it back the other site also gained it back.
Here is my guess of what is happening:

Google crawls sites all the time right?
so say it hits a site that is negative for your site (and causes your points to drop).
Then it hit's positive site that link to yours, causing the rating to rise again.
Maybe the ratings are much more real-time than is commonly thought.

One thing for sure, you can never be sure :)

I too am seeing PR fluctuations. After great jubilation on August 13 (my site received its first PR ever at 4), just today I noticed I have PR5 and could not beleive it! :) I'm definately liking this (opens up SO many more partnership opportunities) Definately a good Friday ;)

One page which I moved to a subdomain shot from PR0 to PR4 (roughly what it was before I moved it) but two other pages which were listed as "not ranked" are still "not ranked" (both have backlinks listed and appear in search results though).
