My url www.mysite.com has a PR 4 but it is a splash page, the real content is in www.mysite.com/something.htm and google's toolbar is grayed there...
What happens? Am I commiting a mistake liking to www.mysite.com instead www.mysite.com/mybestcontent.htm?

Yes, I htink you should remove the splash page and put the www.mysite.com/maincontent.htm in your www.mysite.com because Google recognises your website and the splash but it doesn't rate www.mysite.com/maincontent.htm because www.mysite.com is your main page.
