Popup Blocker Keeps Counting

How to Reset the Number of Popups Blocked?

Hello,

I posted this in the main new google toolbar thread but it sort of got buried. So, hoping someone might have an answer to this:

Not sure if this is a problem with the Toolbar or a problem with the User (me).

The popup blocker works great. But - - how do I clear the listing that shows the number blocked. Since installing the new toolbar, the number just keeps climbing and climbing. Does it ever reset, or will it just keep going up and up and up? It would be nice to have the thing reset at every site to show how many pop-ups were blocked on a particular site. I don't need or want a running total of how many popups have been blocked since the toolbar was installed - which could read thousands in a matter or months!

Anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks.

Jim

Thanks Stefan, ALT+SHIFT+'click button' works. On the About the Pop-up Blocker [toolbar.google.com] page it says:

.. with a count of the number of pop-ups blocked since the last Toolbar installation.

That made me believe it could only be reset by re-installing the toolbar. That way you can also reset the counter (although I had a small problem [webmasterworld.com] to uninstall it).

No problem. The action needed to clear it isn't exactly intuitive eh? At least it isn't alt+shift+ctrl+q+shake the keyboard over your head while clicking the button.
