PR of children pages are changing

I have two children pages linking into my home (index) page that sometimes have PR7 then if I reference the pages from another source they revert back to PR6. This has been going on for about one and half weeks.

I have two questions,

1. Are these pages PR6 or PR7? Is my toolbar confused?

2. My home page (index) is a PR7, how long does it take for children pages to effect the PR of the home page?

Probably just related to this "Groundhog Day" never ending update. It's hard to guess what is happening right now or when it will finally settle. If you still have good positioning in the search results I wouldn't be too concerned. :)
