Checking PR when script adds url to link page

is it possible to check PR at toolbar?

hey,

i just was wondering if script (php/asp) can check the PR of url which is adding to our link page automaticly...
So we want to prepare a php script and want it to check ;
a) pr of url and shouldn't add if pr3 or less (but how can it check it out?)
b) ...etc

You would need to query google directly to do that, or build something that interacted with their toolbar to get the data. But, you might be in violation of the toolbar agreement, I'm not sure on that one.

Though, if you *really* need to get the PR of the page before adding their link, the only legitimate way I know of to do that is to surf their site with the toolbar & advanced options enabled to get the green bar on your computer. :)
