Did anyone ever notice that PR 0 even has a little bit of green in it?

Does that mean it's fractional and not really 0?

Apparently, although I've never checked myself, the PR number is sent to you as a whole number, no decimal. But yeah I have noticed there is a tiny smidgen of green on PR0 sites but I dont think its means there is a bit of PR there, I think its just the toolbar.

I have often wondered about this also. Is it possible that if you look hard enough you will see it?

I just put it down to your eyes seeing what they expect to see, or want to see.

Penalized sites (pages) often have this... to avoid passing the penalty on to other pages and/or externally linked-in sites.

Also... pages with very low PageRank (links) from 1 or 2 pages, but the toolbar PR is not enough to round up to PR1.
