Why would some of the sub pages of a PR 5 site be different? Some of the subpages [www.MYSITE.com/subpage1.html] have PR4's and others of the same level have dropped after this last update to a PR0 any suggestions why this happened?

Hi joeweb, welcome to WebmasterWorld (nobody welcomed you on your first posting, sorry).

I don't know your site, but here a few thoughts
- (almost) identical content?
- linking structure recently changed?

Are the PR0 pages still cached?

Thanks takagi. I went back and looked at a couple of things and I think I figured it out.I recently redesigned the site just prior to update Cassandra. It looks like Google's cache of the pages is the old page. And I recently changed the file extension from htm to html.

I'm hoping this is the cause.

I forgot to include the pages in question. Sticky me if you want to see them, and I'll send them to you.

Joeweb, adding URLs like in your last message is not allowed on this forum. Please edit it.

If you search for

site:www.mydomain.com -blablabla

you will see some 45 pages of your site. Seven of them have no title/snippet/cache; just the URL. One of the seven is a swf (flash), so the other 6 are already known but not yet spidered. So next update it will be OK.
