Invalid instruction in module googletoolbar

Here is a problem thats got me stumped, see if you can help!

I'm on Win98. I've had google toolbar installed on internet explorer 6.

Windows explorer is giving me the following message ...
"Explorer executed an invalid instruction in module googletoolbar_en_1.1.70-deleon.dll"

Trying to uninstall the google toolbar via add/remove programs gives me the following message ...
"Regsvr32 executed an invalide instruction in module googletoolbar_en_1.1.70-deleon.dll"
(and therefore doesn't uninstall the software!)

Any pointers or help that you can provide would be appreciated!

And you've tried reinstalling it?

Actually, yes reinstalling the toolbar did the trick, after I'd found a link to a downloadable installer from this very forum.
