It's a thought I had the other day and was wondering if people have had any thoughts towards this too?
I'd imagine it'd be something like:
bonus towards keyword ranking if bookmarked when on site from a search +
Person bookmarks site +
More than X% of visitors bookmark site ++
length of time people have kept the bookmark +
length of time before visitor bookmarks site(!?) +
and some possible negatives:
X amount of people bookmark site on same IP -
person bookmarks site X amount of times -
and no some more I can't think of.
I've been following a friends site in Google Analytics who has a JavaScript function to bookmark this site. The bookmark button is doing suprisingly well in the site overlay section, and there doing well across lots of keywords
Anyone else having these thoughts?
