iFrames and Google Image Results

Should/Can They Be Reconciled?

I'm working on a site that heavily uses Google search to find resources outside the site. It's a very visual site so searching for images is pretty important. With this in mind, here's my question:

Can/should I use an iframe to display the top X Google Image results? I'd like users to be able to search for things off my site while staying on the site. I've heard iframes are generally a bad idea for just about anything, so if anyone has any other suggestions on how I might integrate the Google (Image) search app into my site I would appreciate it.

I'd also be interested in learning how to do this. I've seen other sites that have made their entire system powered by google, but they keep their own branding.
