Google Search API and BigDaddy

Can you get the big daddy results through the Google Search API?

In the Google Search News Forum [webmasterworld.com...] There is a lot of talk about a new infrastructure updated called Big Daddy, you can see the results at: [64.233.179.104...] The marker search to know you are seeing Big Daddy results is to do a search for 'sf giants', and the first site that comes up is: giants.mlb.com.

If I update my /etc/hosts file to resolve api.google.com as 64.233.179.104, and submit the query 'sf giants' I see a different page as ranked first then sf giants. As far as I can tell I see the same results from the Google Search API regardless of which DC I set in my /etc/hosts file. Has anyone else noticed this? Has anyone had the Big Daddy results through Google Search API?

Thanks for your thoughts...
