Toolbar downside

Sorry if its been answered a thousand times before, but is there any downside to using the toolbar?

I recently had to uninstall the toolbar because it was freezing IE6 when I would hit the 'back' button. I had it installed for six months or so and then one day it just started acting up.

I have it installed on lots of computers (IE5/6) and never have a problem. It's fantastic, make sure you explore the options!

I've heard that it sends info to Google.
Does it?

As far as I know, it sends some info to google so that they can return info to you (such as PR)

They've fixed it, just install the latest version and you won't have that problem anymore. Cheers!
