A Gray bar with a great listing :-)

I recently put a new site online. I usually just let Google crawl in one of my pages. I got a few links to it and wasn't expecting anything till the next update - then I started getting auto emails that let me know when my site was getting traffic.

I checked my stats, and low and behold, all of the traffic was from Google under the terms that I was trying to get. It's a new site, with all legit links, and no flim flamming - but still a grey bar. I find this interesting.

I figured Google would get tired of people jokeying that bar and might devalue it somehow. This could be a start. Anyone else seen this?

jayq, it can happen mid-cycle when sites are added. Don't be surprised if it falls off, it's not the real thing until the actual update happens, when the PR is recalculated.
