is there a way to tell?

Can you tell if the page you are viewing is the actual PR vs. a guesstimate? Would it always be a guesstimate if the pages are added after the last index?

Hi sun818

>Can you tell if the page you are viewing is the actual PR vs. a guesstimate?

I would say only if you know the history of the page as in if it is new or not..

>Would it always be a guesstimate if the pages are added after the last index?

I would say yes exactly. If the pages are newer and only in the index because of freshbot then the PR would be guesstimate.

I would guess that if you click on Page Info > Backwards Links and get links it is a true PR. If you get no links it is up in the air, it may be a guesstimate with really no links, or it may be a true PR with all the backlinks too low in PR to show up.
