I'd love to be able to click a button and see the whois info for the site I am browsing.

I don't know if I would want my info that easy to get by everyone. Sure you can get it but on the bar would be too easy.

The contact details on the Alexa toolbar are taken from WhoIS info, unless you change the info with Alexa.

That's one of the reasons I'd want it there, so I could make sure that I never forgot to pull out the name for one of my or my client's domains :)
