Track # of Google API calls so far used in a day

Hi

Is it possible to know how many times I've used my Google key in the day so far? I mean - from Google?

Something like : If I enter [api.google.com...]
I should the number of times I've used it in the day - like 120 or whatever.
Is this possible?

Also, I know that the max no of api calls in a day is 1000 - but is there any restriction that will not allow us to use say 200 calls in a an hour?
