I got asked to redo a site for a friend of mine. He owns an auto appraisal business. I checked and he's in both DMOZ and Google directory under a "Regional > North America > United States > Virginia > Regions > Northern Virginia > Business and Economy" instead of being under "Shopping > Vehicles > Autos > Appraisers" or other similar category. I've read that it's possible to update this, but it is somewhat up to the editor of that section. Is is worth the trouble? Does G consider you more of a "authority" on a topic if you're listed as such in their directory? Or is just being in there directory, regardless of where, going to get you all the benefit available?
