Hi,

I have a website that have many products, I use the product name as page title, but the problem is the products names are not familiar so the search term in search engine for there names are very lettle.
I will try to include products keywords in the page titles, so do you think it is good idea, and if so what is the best format for the page title at this case.

Regards

If no one searches on the name of the product, then it should be toward the middle or end of the page title. The first part of the page title should include the words/phrases that people actually use when searching.

Here's a great thread [webmasterworld.com] on page titles.

Those are your keywords. What you don't want to do is have a title like:

Red Widgets, Widget Red, Burgandy Widgisarus.com

Remember the title is not only for ranking. It also determines the click through rate your listing will receive in the SERPs. You've got to give the users a reason to click your listing instead of the of others around it.

Hmm. I think you misunderstood what I said. The two points were:

#1 Your product name and description *are* your keywords. If they aren't, you should rename your products.

#2 The example I gave was what you *don't* want your title to look like.

My suggestion:

Keyword : A catchy slogan using the keyword again.

But don't overdo.
