Tool for Managing Active Keyword List

has anyone built this kind of database?

Here's what I'm looking for: a database (most likely) that will allow me to import data on actively used keywords from a variety of sources: WPG, Google API, Adwords, Overture, traffic analysis progs (WTL or NetTracker).

I'd like to be able to use this database to do the following:
--track keyword positions over time (with 100s of keywords, I have a really hard time extracting meaningful trend data from WPG - has anyone figured out a good way to do this?)
--correlate SE positions with traffic (if I see reductions in traffic for a couple months, could it be a drop in keyword positions? if so, which keywords dropped? the larger the keyword universe, the harder this is for me)
--include PPC in the mix so the database reveals the most effective keywords regardless of source, and tracks those used and retired.

I've been looking into this the past couple of days and haven't found any tools that were created to manage existing keywords (please note that I'm not looking for tools to help research new keywords, but to manage keywords already chosen and used)

I've heard various recommendations about how to build spreadsheets and databases, but the fact of the matter is I'm not an Excel or db pro. I'm considering investing the time to learn enough to create something myself, but wanted to make sure someone hasn't already done it. Do you know of any existing tools along these lines?

OK, maybe if I rephrase the question I'll get some response. How do you track position and traffic data over time on active keyword lists for sites you have optimized?

I haven't seen anything that will do this. Some PPC management systems do ok managing those campaigns. We've tested some vendors that say they can integrate much of this stuff but never actually seen it live in action anywhere. If they could in fact do it, it typically comes with a substantial price tag.

Thanks. I have seen that and it's a good tool, but only one part of the picture. I was looking for something that could integrate data from a variety of sources. I don't think such a tool exists - yet.

What's the real benefit of using the Google APIs. In simple terms I just know that they can be used for tracking ranking on certain keywords over a period of time. Can anyone really elaborate on this and tell how to start using it actually. I've got the license key and downloaded the API developer kit.

Thanks in advance. Eagerly Waitign for your reply.
