250+ domains pointing to example.com

hi guys, i just found out that my boss has been pointing 250+ domain names that he has registered over the years to our main site (misspells, relevant names). i'm quite alarmed by this, especially considering the high number of pointing domains. are my worries reasonable? it just seems so spammy to me... we have great searchability for our keywords and i would hate to spoil it...

Are you rewriting or redirecting the other URLs to your main domain, or does the content resolve whatever one of the 250 domain names you use? Ideally you should have just one primary domain name, and any incoming traffic to one of the other domains is redirected to the correct address with a 301 Permanent Redirect.
