My rankings and keyword rankings are gone

Hi,
I been an affiliate for about a year. I just started SEO 8 months ago so I don't know much. I did manage to get my website ranked a pr4 and yahoo web directory had two of my keywords ranking on page one and one on page two. There are millions of websites going for these keywords. I have bought backlinks and I think I been doing clean SEO. Two days ago my prwent to zero and my keywords don't rank at all in yahoo. I make my living now online because I am disabled (car accident). I need some advise on how to correct if I did anything wrong. I changed an image and added content last week, but I did not touch any major things like tags.... so why me?

I have posted this plea in several area's here, I had some good advise but nothing hit the nail yet.

Some would say buying backlinks for your search engine ranking is not clean SEO.

3) Before you do anything make sure you are not linking out to sites that use spam.

2) Next look at the sites you bought the links from, do they say anything about buying links to help you increase Page Rank?

3) Have you used cloaking for SEO?

4) Do you have or had hidden text or hidden links on your web site?

I thought buying quality links was good advertising and the only way to get any website with a pr7-9 that will link to you and you don't need to link back to.

All the links I put on my website are good links I check them out.

I never did cloaking or hidden text on my site. Only once did I textlink a blog (I took a stupid chance last Jan). Is that enought to hurt me?
