Why my site is not ranking?

I am unable to trace exact problme why my site is not ranking.

Dear Friends,

I have promoted one of my client site, but even after following guidelines and working on Links I am not able to get results.

I observed top three sites in Google for related keywords, and found Back Links and PR to be same with that of my site. And other thing what I observed in all top three sites is Title and Meta Tags. Almost all the top ranking site has a bunch of keywords which is more than as is told by SEs, and description with more than 4 senteces which simply has keywords, but still they are ranking and are stagnent from many days.

The site which I have promoted has more images, there is text in the site but with very few pages with very small text or without text and I followed professional way of Title and Meta tags, already site has got PR and there is sufficent Back Links. But why it is not ranking at all?, The results for the keyword is hardly in thousands. Could anyone give me valuable tips and idea?

Two factors you might consider. Is there ENOUGH text for a search engine to munch on? I see way too many sites that use graphical buttons and goodness knows what else - mostly to please the MD. At the end of the day a site needs to earn its keep. Time is another factor. Few sites really get going until a good 12 months has elapsed. Also try getting links from sites with better PR.
