Is it OK to use white text in a table cell?

I tried to make search, but I couldn't find an answer.

So, is it OK to use white text in a dark blue table cell, when my page background is white? (as it can be seen in this forum..)
The main question is: do spiders consider it as a hidden text?

Can you see it with the naked eye? If so you should be ok.

It should be fine, just long as the background of the text is not the same color. You can do this with images too, just make sure the text is in front of the image.
