Great Forum Lads.. Been lurking around for a while and its been a great help. But no i am needing a little help please.
I run a fan site for a game and i recently used a program to make my meta tags as i did a re design and cause I am a lazy git :P.
Any way its been working really well and i got like 700 + unique hits out of google which i quite good for my small community.
But i got the feeling this was for only one "example keyword". Now one site in the community has grown huge just cause the buggers bought examplekeyword.com . The site doesnt have too much content, yet it is top of google 1st and second place. Have you got any good ideas on how i can optimise it to get up there with them. I manged to get up top of "example keyword" on google. With a little fiddling with my words i have added "example keyword" in places where its not too obveous. Should i resubmit it to everywhere as i added in these extra words. I have the famous not working revisit meta tag in there.

Get as many as you can, and you'll be fine.
Meta keywords are, to put it delicately, of limited value. There is a lot more to optimization. I sugest that you start off with Brett's classic Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone [webmasterworld.com].
It's a hard habit to form, but once you do it becomes routine.
