I'm a member of a lot of those trade leads sites that let you post sell/trade offers.

I've come across one that gives you a folder on the site more or less, you name it and you can hand code parts of the pages in it.

So my idea was to put lots of keyword rich link text pointing at internal pages of my site. Do it properly mind not just random.

1. Is this link spamming or Google-bombing or whatever?
2. Will robots disregard or penalise too many links from the same site?

I think having a few links is acceptable but not really sure what a safe number would be. Would all the links be on the same page? I think that may cause a problem...

<Edit>Curious Web, all the product offers have their own page so one link per page or two counting the link in the contact details at bottom of every page but I suppose I could remove that.<Edit>

Honestly I don't get it. On every page of WW there is a link pointing to Westhost.com. How many thousands of links is that all going to the same site? Why isn't that spam? No keywords in the link text but, so what? What if their name were Cheap Host? Would that then be spam?

In reference to my first post specifically.- If I am offering product A on the trade lead site and I say that you can find out more info about product A at mysite.com/all-about-product-A.htm, then what is wrong with that?

And again how many is too many? Should I not use keywords at all in the links?
