Direct Hit Listing

How can I increase my pages position?

I have a difficult dilemma. The pages that I have listed in Direct Hit are ranking very poorly (115 and 130) for certain keywords.
If I click on a listing several times a day and spend plenty of time in the site ( over 20 minutes ) will that increase my ranking?

The other question I have is whether or not continuous clicking from the same IP address is recognised as spamming? I have also used this clicking philosophy with SimpleSearch (http://www.simplesearch.com) a partner site that uses Direct Hit technology. Are there any other ways to go about increasing a pages rank besides the methods that I am using?

Finally does anybody know how often Direct hit will update it's ranking data?

Thanks in advance

My understanding is that Direct Hit uses click data from many sites, and that, yes, they do discount multiple clicks from the same IP.

Can't say much about updates. They don't seem to happen very often. I have been trying to get two clients listed for five months, and not only aren't they added, I don't see any changes in the searches they would be included in.

It's very weird, these sites get both referrals from Ask Jeeves but not Direct Hit! Outside of an occasional ritual submission, I've pretty much given up on it.
