Ok,

I've convert ASPDesigner's brilliant code, see here [webmasterworld.com] for more info. The error I get is

Exception from HRESULT: 0x80044230

I've searched the web and no one (including microsoft) has any information on it. Can anyone help?

Chris

That error is

E_NO_SERIALIZER
Unable to locate suitable serializer for Com Type

Sounds like in the conversion process, something that used to be a primative type is now an object.

Cheers
Simon

Its most likely a typo Chris. Go over your code and the process for using it. I'm using the application right now. Works fine.

no I'm running it in VB 6.0 . I missed the part where you mentioned .NET. Perhaps you need to change some setting so that it will run as a 6.0 application? (I've never used .NET)

If that doesn't work then I can modify my code to include a text box so that you may enter your API key. I'll create an executable from that and send it to you. Let me know by responding to this thread again.

Satanclaus,

You are DA MAN. I would greatly appreciate that. I have tried running vb6 and .net side by side but they have too many common elements that cause them to conflict. If you could send me the executable I'd be most grateful. I'll sticky you my email address.

Thanks again
Chris.
