Does anyone know of a way I can read the contents of a directory when its a public folder and not on the webserver? I tried using file system object on a local/public directories and it will only work on directories on a webserver. Any alternate solutions? I can't create a virtual directory out of these public folders.

By public...and I hope I explain this clearly is a drive/folder that everyone in the company has access to. It would write/read permissions for everyone. Everyone would put their files here so that no matter which office you reside in you can access that file.

Are the servers on the same domain - is your box the controller? Does your box have Full Control enabled on the share?
