i have been using VB.NET and ASP.NET for about 2 months now, and learning to realize it's the best thing since Philadelphia cream cheese. i am a long time user of classic ASP, so it's been a smooth learning curve.
i am just curious if any of you have any tips/tricks/cautions/best practices you have come across in your travels. thanks for your input.

I have a self full of .Net books at home. They explain the theory and show you in examples how it works. They get you to code with the book. I have found it a quick, comprehensive and fun way of learning. If I remember when I get home, I'll try to post some titles for you. Can you please sticky me a reminder to do this.

Read the forums at www.asp.net .. its great for asking questions and reading other peoples questions/answers. I am a regular poster there and its a fantastic resource.
Another great site for learning is www.learnvisualstudio.net .. the guy who runs it creates daily videos on tips for .NET and has member videos which are more indepth.
I consider myself an advanced user, and still get some great tips from both those sites.
