Hi,

I have installed the Windows 2003 and HELM control panel on one of our testing server .Everything seems to be working fine.We are able to login to the HELM and setup everything. We have setup 500 domains for testing purposes and the strange thing is that after we shutdown the PC and reboot it ,all the sites in IIS are stopped. We tried to start it but getting :

Event ID: 1524
Source: Userenv
Symbolic Name: EVENT_FAILED_CLASS_HIVE_UNLOAD
Message: Windows cannot unload your classes registry file - it is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded when it is no longer in use.

Explanation
Windows unloads each user's profile and user's section of the registry when the user logs off. This message indicates that Windows could not unload the user's profile because a program was referencing the user's section of the registry. This locked the profile. The registry cannot unload profiles that are locked and in use. When the program that is locking the profile is no longer referencing the registry, the profile will be unloaded.

User Action
No user action is required.

What would be the problem on the server?Hope someone can help me out.

Thanks.

Andy

Haven't got an easy answer I'm afraid. Seems to be related to handle leaks. Are you up to date on service packs and hotfixes? Apparently SP3 fixes some of these problems.
