An old programmer friend of mine who I havenīt been in touch with for years, adviced me that I should download visual web developer 2005 express edition to build my site in. He also invited me come over and teach me some. Problem is heīs been a programmer for years and has litterally forgotten more than I know about coding and has therefore difficulties getting down to my level of understanding. Iīm almost about ready to give up on VWD (or postpone learning to use it, pretty much the same), feeling way out of league.
But its awfully decent of him to offer to help when I havenīt even asked and I donīt want to seem ungrateful. So before I visit again Iīm hoping to find a crash course in VWD, other than the videos on asp.net that I find confusing and at least get an idea of how it works.
Can anyone recomend a good tutorial, preferably in a step by step with excersises style (btw, Iīve already amazoned VWD for dummies but it wonīt arrive for a month)? All help would be most appreciated.
