Roxio error 0x80004005 when trying to burn a DVD

Just purchased and installed a LITEON SHW-1635S DVD R RD Drive and cannot burn a DVD using Roxio Media Creator 7.1.1.189 with all updates. I get error 0x80004005 after the burn process is complete. Roxio is no help and I have updated the LITEON Drive firmware.

The CD burner, DVD & CD play functions all work fine.

I'm using Windows XP home with all the latest updates and plenty of system resources.

Any suggestions
