"Out of memory" error with ASP

Hi all,

I have a Win 2003 Server machine with 2gb RAM.
When the machine reaches just over 1gb of RAM being used, the ASP pages start throwing "Out of memory" errors.

I don't know why the "Out of memory" errors are occuring if the server still has nearly 1gb of RAM free not being used. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?

Its usually big arrays or strings that does this. I have not seen it on 2K3 box yet though. If you re-write the suspect code as VB/COM objects it stops the problem.

Fire up the perfmon and start setting the web page metrics to get a better idea of where your problem is at.
