IIS and CSS

css layout is out of whack

I am having a problem with IIS on my local machine. when I view the webpage through my local machine the css layout I have is all out of whack.

When I upload it to my web host's server it looks fine. If I go and open the file manually it looks fine as well.

Like I said I just have a problem when I go to view it through the localhost.

Is there a setting I need to set with IIS to make the css display correctly?

Or could this be some other problem that has nothing to do with ISS?

Some browsers are picky about MIME types. Are you sure your localhost IIS is set to deliver .css files as text/css?
