Hello there!
Probably this is not related to this forum at all, but this morning I posted here and I got promptly helped. :)

I'm trying to setup a localhost in my machine, but for some reason, when I type: "http://localhost/" on IE, it shows me the following error:

--------------------------------------------------
"Server Application Unavailable"
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.

Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the system event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.
--------------------------------------------------

I've reviewed the log and nothing seems to be related to what I'm doing.
I've also been to www.windowsupdate.com just in case, but nothing seemed to change either.

What should I do then?
Thanks and sorry for posting on a different subject.

What OS are you running? What version of IIS?

XP Pro? Check this Link [msdn.microsoft.com] regarding one of the latest Security Updates.
