Required to design a Security Module

Hi Guys

I am required to design a Security Module for a site I have just created in ASP.net.

It is the first time I am asked to do this. Not to sure what is actually accepted, I kinder do but. May be u guys can shed some light on the subject or provided some sites where I could get some info on the topic

What do you need to do? Make a login page? Do a search on ASP.Net Forms Authentication, which has built in features for making a site wide login page, etc.

Users with groups. Groups have permissions.
