Hello Everyone,

I have found this site through a colleague of mine and let me tell you how great it is ... It Is Great :)

I have experience programming basic ASP applications that involve DB access, variables and sessions etc...

I am now looking to develop my knowledge into using VB6 and DLL's. Can anyone recommend any good books to learn the basic (db querying for example) with lots of source code examples to follow.

I know ASP.net is out now but another colleague is handling that at the minute.

Many Thanks
ASPhopeful.

Professional VB6 Distributed Objects by Rockford Lhotka is a pretty good book that comes to mind. Professional Windows DNA is another. Both were published by wrox back in the day.

Wrox Press has a few good ones. Their books usually have lots of example code. VB6 Database Programming is one of the ones regarding your database access comment.
