Hi all

Only just started using IIS which is why I've posted in here - let me know if I should go straight to Microsoft section.

Basically, my problem is this. I've installed IIS 6.0 on Windows Server 2003. AFAIK it is all configured correctly. I telnet in using "telnet localhost 25" and then send a mail. The mail goes straight to the Badmail folder, after being queued for next to no time. Try as i might, I can't get a message to leave my local computer.

Does anyone know what the problem is? My basic problem is I'm not even sure how IIS sends the mail into the 'outside world'. Also, I am behind a firewall, but this shouldn't block outgoing?

Any answers would be *very* gratefully received.

Yep, it certainly can! I'd contact whoever supports your firewall for assistance.
